Rambles.

Watched an episode of CSI with vampirism as a cult in it :) Awesome shizzle.

I'm kinda lazy to blog :( Haha. It's 1: 27 am here in Malaysia. Haven't even brushed my teeth yet :P I'm in bed though.

I'll post up some pictures of me and Thev in Halloween make up alright?? :) Promise I'll blog more in the next blog post. Meow* ;)

Thev and I :) Note the elaborate drawings on her face. *Phew*

Toodles and good night ;)

Halloween and dumbos.

Thev and me dressed up for Halloween. Yeah, too early :) I know. For fun :P She was some goth spiderling lady. I was a gothic vampire. had no other costume :P

Some "people" just never learn from the past. From past mistakes.

I'm tired of being pushed down. One day, "they" will know. They will see how many good people they would have lost. let them be. Let them open their huge big fat mouths and cuss at us. Let them. When they self destruct, they'd be crawling back to "us" for help. then, we can have the last laugh. I've given up hope on this place. Sad to say. I'm not saying "anything bad." I'm just doing a mental applause for their apparent "smartness and intelligence."

Let's just all see how well they work. Not only them, back stabbers. Let's sit back and watch them self destruct, my lovelies. Trust me, it'll be worth watching.

Anyway, need some shut eye.

Love you peeps.

Zombies and toxoplasma. (Part 2.)

Me and my awkward posing. (Forgive the blatant vanity)
So yeah :)

Hello again my cookies :)

I showed dad the letter and he was fine :) Didn't say a word, thank God. Phew* (Brushing off imaginary beads of sweat.) Haha.

Lil is studying :( So want to disturb her. Tee hee* I miss her crashing on her drums in my room. Yup, her drumset's still in my room. So where were we?? Toxoplasma.

Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University have discovered a possible strategy against an invasive parasite that infects more than a quarter of the world's population, including 50 million Americans. See, they have to actually strategize to try and beat the smart mutating parasites :P That is how smart the parasites are. Sheesh.

What is toxoplasma you may ask. It is an invasive parasitic disease, primarily carried by cats. It is transmitted to humans by eating undercooked meat or through contact with cat feces. It affects brain cells and corrupts other cells. It is also a very "smart" disease?? It hates being lonely :) Or homeless as a matter of fact. (Sorry about the whole web of facts. My brain works like that. VERY fast.) That chunk of information was provided by William J. Sullivan Jr., Ph.D., associate professor of pharmacology and toxicology.

This type of parasite replicates and mutates when it feels like it's under attack. Very smart indeed, and they have minds of their own. I forgot where I read this, but toxoplasma affects the brain in very freaky ways. A group of scientists were observing mice in their natural habitats who were infected by this parasite. They had damaged brain cells and believe it or not, the mice were turned on by cat urine.

Scary much?? As we all smart beings know ;) Cats are the predators of mice and to be turned on by something the predator excretes is extremely weird. Imagine that!! So yeah, the producer I was talking about was planning to use this parasitic virus in his new zombie movie :)It affects the brains and actually takes control of the mind. Very seducing in a way (parasitic way) and very mind boggling as well. Hmm. A friend of mine also told me that toxoplasma in girls, makes them extremely horny.

Imagine a whole bunch of horny zombies. Phew* Seriously, something to think about huh?? :P

I also came to this whole new realization (maybe some or all of you noticed it long ago) ;) that movies have phases. There's the whole vampiric era, or werewolves and then now, it's the zombie era. Like Resident Evil and what not. Ppfft. Talk about copy-catting :) Teehee*

Is it too much for you to handle?? :P I could go on about a few more mind boggling things occurring in the science realm :P

Well, write to me what you peeps would like to know more about ;) In my chatbox.

P.s# Being different is so hard. Trust me. Judgemental people in the world out there.
You think you know me, but you don't :) You don't even know what makes me tick.

Love you all,
From the bottom of my heart,

Lishia.

Xx.

Oh shucks, zombies and toxo.

Thev and me again :) Woodpecker kisses. Muaxx.

Grr, slept off early last night :) Meow, I think sometimes, I'll blog in codes :) So that "unwanted people" would not get what I say :) You babypies know who I'm referring to ;)

So yeah. What should I blog about, hmm. Should I criticize stupidity today?? :P Ppfftt. Waste of time I should think :p Guess I'll do a write up on toxoplasma and zombies.
Bet you're asking, how are these two related??

I'll tell you.
I've been following some science journals and websites and blogs and yeah. Some producers of big huge, hit movies get ideas from science sites especially producers that do movies on zombies and ghouls and foul diseases. They always strive for realism :) Seriously. I've been following one of them and he was asking around, what disease or virus would be the most realistic one for a zombie to have apart from rabies which is a little illogical :) For a human to get rabies, and start foaming like a mad dog, it's, let's say, a little silly :) It happens but not in masses you see.

Oh shucks. I'm in trouble!! I have a letter to show my dad. It's not a nice one :( SO DOOMED!! Will blog more on toxoplasma in my next post.

Till then,
Xoxo.

To be continued.. .. .. ..

Quakers :)

Me :)

Oh boy. I'm lazy to do my research on toxoplasma :(

I'll come back and do a post about it :P Had an event in college yesterday. I wore a lengga :) It's an Indian costume and it's uber sexy!! I wish I were Indian sometimes. I love that culture :)

Too many things have been happening and I've been too engrossed in Stephen King's books. He's the bomb!! Also, Malaysian politics will NEVER change. Always the same old nonsense they present us with. PAS (One of the political parties) mentioned a lot of racist remarks and comments that even offended another political party. Same old drama and mud-slinging. Wonder when they'd ever grow up. How can the citizens of this beautiful country not get annoyed with the constant mosquito-like sounds in our ears?? And everything and anything we do is regulated. Freedom of speech, religion and choice, my foot :)

Let's see how long it takes before my darling blog gets flagged by them. You know why, folks?? They are afraid of the truth. Trust me ;) Facts and statistics make them quake.

Ciao for now,
Adios amigos. Xx,
Shia.

Sadistic rants.

Thev and I. We look weird so I made it smaller :)

So, right here, right now, I'm feeling a tad evil. Don't ask :) I just am. Not evil EVIL, just a little evil.

My friend, he's going to re-pierce his lower lip piercing. By himself. With a heated needle. Let's hope nothing gets infected. And, let's hope he does it at 12. When the clock chimes 12, and the ghouls come out to play. The sick screeches could be heard.
Imagine a good way to torture a person. A guy, for instance. I would perhaps shove a thin little tube, no more than umm maybe, 2 cm wide up his urinary tract. And then, release slowly, very slowly, air at a very high pressure. Just slowly increase the volume as well. After that, start with water, remember :) it has to be propelled forward at a very very high pressure. Imagine the pain up your penis, if you were a guy. Ouch much?? It applies for girls as well :)

There are many more sadistic ways of killing people but guess I'd stop here. :)
Alright, I'll come on upstairs later and blog again. I'll do some more detailed research on toxoplasmosis and try and convert the science-y terms into more layman terms. Alright??

Ta peeps. Love you :)

I smell light!!

I'm so sorry again for the extra long dry spell. Been having a buck load of drama in my life and who would want to hear about drama right?? :) It was my birthday yesterday. I'm officially nineteen now!! Yay me :) It was a horrid, horrible, horrifying, terrible, terrifying, awful birthday though :( Seriously, trust me when I say that :) You all don't want to know what happened. Not an inkling of a celebration or a joyous moment was in place. LOL. Nevermind about that already :) Hopefully everything will turn out better and not look so grim and bleak
.

Well, so many things happened. But well, life sucks sometimes :) Can't be helped.

I checked the latest news in the science field and boy!! There is something really startling. No joke. You know light, it's an energy. A form of energy, particles that exist in tiny packets-photons. Light is an electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength that is visible to the naked eye. Well, what is so surprising and startling is that, light as we all know, is only sensed by one of our sensory organs which is our eyes. We cannot for instance, smell or hear light. But, oho!!

Harvard University's neurobiologists have created a whole new era of mice. Why era?? These little lab rats can sniff out light. Yeah you got me, SNIFF OUT LIGHT!! Imagine that. Imagine being able to sniff out a whole bunch of photons. Phew* I tell you, some things in the Science industry really create new levels and dimensions. And startling new revolutions!! The article on light sniffing mice came out on my birthday :) How wonderful!! Makes me more inspired to catch up with that far ahead dream of mine. Sigh* That has been constantly broken by people. Behind every happy mask lies a broken heart :)

Enough about that. back to photon-sniffing mice. Must be bionic, them noses :P
It seems that the group of biologists started with just a question. "What if we make a nose act like a retina??" Based on that, they did their experiments and lo and behold, VOILA!!
Mice that can smell light!! Woots* Cheers to them. It is so complex, the whole changing the systems of mice.

"Optogenetic techniques integrate light-reactive proteins into systems that usually sense inputs other than light. Murthy and his colleagues integrated these proteins, called channelrhodopsins, into the olfactory systems of mice, creating animals in which smell pathways were activated not by odors, but rather by light."-- Taken from the article.

From there, the optogenetically engineered mice were able to perceive light and channel them to the brain through their noses. Interesting huh?? LOL. What was mainly altered was the patterns of activation downstream in the olfactory bulb. Cool huh?? HOW COOL IS THAT?? *Screaming and fainting* Sorry :) Have to dramatize a bit you know ;) But seriously, COOL!!

Their work was sponsored by Harvard and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory :) Chee, that's so mind-boggling, brain worthy, gut-hoogling and soul-warming. Forgive the nonsensical words :) The brain's on a roll. Aahh, can't wait for more news :)

Ta peeps. I love you all, have loved, love, and always will love ;)

Xx, Shia.

Mumble jumbles.

Thev and I again. Playing dress up.
I feel. The way I feel.

I feel the need for streams of moonlight to rain down.
I feel the need, the longing, the desire to just drop everything.
And to run to a place where the moon stays out all night and the stars party.
Where the Sun comes out to mingle.

I long for refreshing springs of turn and change.
I feel the need to run and run and never look back.
I feel the need to spring free and yell and dash about.
I feel the need to break from captivity.
I feel the need to burst out of this numb bubble.
I feel the strange longing for a place I can call thy own.

I feel the need for everything to fall into place, to take its proper toll.
I feel the need for a bout of happiness to awash and to yell its charisma through thine veins.

Should I be concerned?? Should I actually continue taking action??
Is it really worth my time and effort?? What am I actually doing right now?? Is it deja vu on the same platter all over again?? Is this plethora of never ending masks, hardships, disappointments and drama-breaking lust going to pursue and stake its hold in lives as innocent and naive as ours??

So many questions running through my head. Expression of course, will always be metaphoric. What am I feeling now?? No no. Fight the autopilot. Not. Getting. Me.

Very limerical?? Hmm. Numerics was not my thing. Break this. Crack the code. Juicy insides, things awaiting. All's a mumble jumble. Oh this bloomin' mushrooms of poisoning unfulfilled dreams, step ye away. Step ye. Away.

It's all too much to handle, to swallow, to take in. Moods of this cannot be cured. Remedies a-flying. Bees a-buzzing.

I wait for the studio to reopen. I wait. And sit silently, in the alarmingly deafening silence. Oxymoronic?? That silence could be deafening. It is. Try it, it says, try me. Come a little closer.

The cliff calls. It does as well.

Just crack the code to see what's inside.
Love, Shia.

The way I are.

Thev and I :)

The way I are.
Simper up, punk it, empty that, get this.
Then pull the trigger, watch it fall, end it.
Nightmare, warzone, brewery evils and skinheads.
Empty, hollow, desolate and desperate.
Chink ma ninks, lose all, gain some, hit it.
Pull the trigger, watch it fall,
End it.

I don't know what that is :P Some weird poetic thingy I just came up with.
:)

Love. Meow*

Whaling, life and overdrive.

Me in a dressing room :) Ate my heart out doing clothes shopping with Thev and the gang.

So, as I was saying in the last post that I'd do a post now on whaling. I haven't forgotten it but, (yup, there's a HUGE BUT) ;) but, there are some catches in it. Many many animal activists and environmentalists are making huge hoo ha's about all these whaling. Yet, whaling is supported by the Faroese government. My bestie Marjun, she's from Faroe Islands and it is actually a kind of sport to hunt and kill the pilot whales as they have become a major sort of umm, nuisance to the people of the small island?? Yup. They're are only allowed to kill pilot whales and only if they come towards the shoreline. So yeah, whaling in Denmark and Faroe Islands has two sides to the story. Hmm. Let's check out the illegal whaling shall we??

Japanese illegal whaling is on par with killing sharks JUST FOR THEIR FINS tto make the special delicacy, shark fin soup.

I got this directly from the BBC News, The Australian court has made an uproar because Japanese people have broken domestic law by killing whales in the Australian waters. The judgement, however, is unlikely to end the whaling. Japan does not recognise Australia's Antarctic claim or its declaration of a whale sanctuary in the area. Tokyo has said in the past that it will ignore any injunction resulting from the case.

So yeah, as you can see, it's all very controversial matters brought into hand here. Japanese whalers can be one stubborn bunch huh :)

Whaling is still very gruesome and actually should be banned. However, it should be the country itself that decides. Sigh* Wish we in PETA could have more say in things. The only thing we can do is to petition, create a ruckus, go and strikes (don't want to be detained though) :) and umm, shoot the people who do whaling?? :P

I'll show you some pictures of how whaling in Denmark looks like. It IS allowed though.

But like I said, since the Denmark government allows it, we all have nothing to say. The water turns a brilliant bloody red during this season. Kind of painful to see that. I have more pictures, if you'd like to see them, do tell me. I'd rather not put it all up yet. They're pretty gory.

So yeah, aside from that, life's been fine, somewhat a downward spiral but hey, someday, we'd b bound to pull it all up again :P Make things get back to normal and up on the social ladder. My friend Rich questioned me, after Bio Medical, what next. Kinda got me thinking. I hate it when my brain goes on overdrive :P I can't sleep then and man!! The thoughts that will keep rushing in!! Yup, I cannot meditate for nuts :P

Hmm, peepos, have to work out and get ready for college. Night, morning, and love you all <3 <3

Hugs and kisses, the anti-whaler,
Shia.

Farts, whaling and ignorant governments.

Hey, boxers are one of the most comfortable piece of clothing ever :p I walk around in public sometimes in them :P

So many things running in my head :P So many colours and how I'd like them to be painted. Tee hee* I still am trying to get my blogging mojo back in the house!!

Going for a movie in the morning tomorrow to chase away the dumdee dum Monday blues :) Feeling a little naughty, hyper and silly. I'm going to be typing a whole load of nonsense. Hey, don't blame me alright ;) I really need to get back the feel of blogging. Been a little too lazy. Also lazy to decorate my room again!! Sigh* Haha dad got my room re painted. So all my beautiful art is off the wall!! Ick. Want to see some of it?? Hold on, I'll go dig my files :)

There, it's something like that :P I have a lot more as well. Man, I should really start sticking them up on the wall again. I'm so weird :P I love eyes watching me when I sleep. Yeah, most of my paintings have eyes, my mum gets a little creeped out sometimes :)

Want to know funny facts?? About farts :) Haha!!

Weird fart fact# 1.
The sounds that make farts loud and noisy are actually vibrations from anal openings :) Not the flapping of butt cheeks. Haha. (I would love to take a video of a fart and play it in slow motion to see the proper vibration of the anal opening. Haha can't blame me :P) Science ;)

Weird fart fact# 2.
Some people even fart after death. Phew right?? :P

Okay, enough on farts, I feel a stink coming up here :) Haha!! Omg!! Samy Vellu is stepping down next year!! In January!! LOL I can't wait :) Oh, he's a politician, by the way :) For you lovely non-Malaysian viewers. He's crazy, he held his post for over 20 years?? Phew.

Sigh* Whaling and human trafficking is still on the rise!! Saddening to see the NGO's of various countries working so hard. And most governments remain blissfully ignorant. Nope, I'm not pointing fingers. It's just that it sucks watching all this kind of disdainful activities go by without any punishment on the perpetrators :(

Okie, guess my next blog post will be on whaling. It's not for the faint hearted because I'm going to be posting a lot of awry, gruesome pictures. View at your own risks ;)

Bye and love you all, my bloggerbabies.

Lesbian fetishism.

My sorriest apologies for failing to blog for so long!! I just had no Internet connection and then, was also caught up with exams, assignments and bluh :( Since it's a Saturday and the 2nd of October, even date :) LOL!! Ggrr, mighty mad at my laptop and some people. My laptop is infected because of their pendrives. So bloody annoying!!

I really want to blog, am dying to and then my Internet Explorer keeps hanging :( Sad innit :P Hmm, I was just wondering, is it normal for girls to have erotic lesbian dreams and fetishes?? In a way :) Been having crazy dreams. Phew. Girls and gambit sticks and Inspector like costumes with heeled-boots and stilettoes, all so sexy and surreal. Oh, did I mention beds and huge pillows as well?? :P All so turning on. Dang!! LOL.

Something like this :)

Shucks, I'm so mad at blogspot and everything right now. It's all taking too slow and hanging here and there. Yup, I'm very impatient :)

Okie, folks, will go reboot my laptop and install some new security settings and come back and blog later :P

Ciao, have fun fantasizing ;) LOL.
