Dioxins, murder and epidemics.

An alright picture ;) Was "digging" through my phone for one.

I feel so lifeless. I need some alcohol in my system. LOL I so wouldn't mind a whole bottle of Hennessy/Absolut Kurant stuffed down my throat right now. Seriously, I hardly ever say this on my blog but I need a serious break. This party animal needs to be let out of her cage. Haha. Okay, enough about that.

Today's topic is going to be a little scientific in a gory manner.
Did you know that murder could be SO EASY?? Just by extracting a little amount, maybe a syringe full of animal/human blood and injecting it into someone's arm, you could kill them. As we all know, humans have different blood types. It's best to know the "victim"'s blood type first, before injecting the blood. The person would die a horrid death as the blood of the person would react and form a tremendous amount of bubbling in that area. Sort of like a rejection; just in a very weird manner. It would kinda like clot the blood in the injected area. Oops* :) Sadist alert*

Agent Orange.
I was pretty shocked that a lot of people including my sister wasn't aware of this. She just had her Chemistry presentation and I suggested to 'Agent Orange' to her for a topic cause as she was presenting on halogens and dioxins. Yup, Chemistry's fun. LOL And I thought the Agent Orange pandemic was one of the most well-known chemical "warfares" to hit this planet. Even after so many generations, the effects of this 'crazy chemical' are seen in people.

These are some of the most recent pictures of the effects of Agent Orange; I got them from some websites off the Internet. The boy in the 1st picture has to be tied up so he wouldn't hurt himself. It's so saddening to see the victims of warfare, ANY warfare as a matter of fact. I personally think bio-chemical wars are the worst!! Especially when they involve disease-laden bombs and chemical sprays which contain phosphorus and dioxins.
To sum it all up, Agent Orange was actually a famous herbicide used by the American troops to clear up the Vietnam forests. Little did they know the amount of harm it would cost the people living there. It seeped through water outlets, affected people who inhaled it and caused a lot of damage, throughout many generations. Even breathing in the chemicals and exposure to it would cause a lot of damage to the body. Imagine. The usage of Agent Orange as a herbicide was banned in the 1970's and the effects of it are still showing today. The pictures above were taken in 2004-2009. Why?? Because Agent Orange contained a large amount of halogens, namely CL2, Chlorine which if broken down, formed dioxins.

What are dioxins??
Dioxins are a group of chlorinated organic chemicals with similar chemical structures. Dioxins have very harmful effects depending on the number and position of chlorine atoms.
How are they formed??
Dioxins can be mainly formed by human activities or even by volcanic activity.
They're usually formed unintentionally by incomplete combustion and industrial activity. Even cigarette-smoke contains small amounts of dioxins. Imagine that :/ No wonder smoking near a pregnant woman causes birth defects. Oh gee :/ Who knew. Dioxins cause bioaccumulation which is the clutter of the environmental systems. Now this is why, dioxins are BAD. And why they caused such scary effects on people. They also are carcinogenic (cancer-causing) and are just BAD for health.

Open burning releases dioxins too and STUPID MALAYSIANS just love to burn their rubbish out in the open. And Chinese people LOVE burning joss paper and all the stuff that pollutes the environment. I'm not being racist here (I am Chinese); it's just that sometimes, brains are required to save and conserve the environment. Sigh* I just wish people would make a more conscious effort to save our already dying Mother Earth :(

Alright, I shall stop here to start my mugging for finals yet AGAIN. Heavy sigh*
Goodbye my blogmonsters and LOTS OF LOVE from me ;)

The shortest post ever.

Having a funny haired-day.

I've been really so busy mugging my butt off for my final exams which are coming up REAL SOON :( Next week to be precise. Sigh* Why oh why do we have finals. It sucks.

Okay, this is just a short post to say HELLO :) I miss you, bloggerpeepies. And yes, I'll post something tonight.
Love you all :*

Politics in the education arena.

2 separate pictures, same skirt.
Me-ow :) It's about 5 am here, woke up with a stomachache :/ So I decided to blog :)

So many things running through my head. My dean is leaving and she's one of the ONLY 2 psychology lecturers in my college. My mum was offered a post in my college too, for lecturing Psychology but she declined it; wanted to focus on her autistic and special patients first. Then, my other Psychology lecturer, she went on maternity leave which would probably be for another 4 months?? Yup, we don't have any more Psychology lecturers and my college is renown for its Psychology courses. I don't know why politics has to take up the scenes everywhere. I strongly feel 'they' should NOT mess with education because messing with education would mean messing with futures. We all invest our time, our all, our money as students and we obviously expect the best. Especially if we all have great plans and are striving to excel. If this becomes another wash over like what happened in UTAR, I would certainly NOT hesitate to cause a tsunami rebel against them.

I'm not supposed to be saying this out loud BUT yeah, I heard that some lecturers are quitting and some are actually being sacked because they had some problems with the management. I know we all are human but hello?? Where's diplomacy when it's called for?? I actually found out that the government wants to buy some shares in my college; it currently only has a 5 % share. I'm not sure how much truth this contains because it's all orally told. But yes. And now that some lecturers have been talking about problems with management; I'm guessing there might be some probable truth in this. This should have a boundary. Somewhere SOON, they should stop. These bloody adults cause ruckuses over the slightest of all slight matters. My sister's lecturer was one of them who told us about the "problems with management". I don't think it's just that. How can my dean want to quit if it's just management problems?? There has to be some underlying sort of bubbling up here. We're all going through our finals here, except for the A-level students. So yeah, really hope all this won't further affect our studies. I hope there won't be anymore tampering in results. As I know, the batch I'm in; pretty smart. Some of my classmates can score nearly full marks for American History and Anthropology which is scary :/ But they ARE geniuses, we have to give them credit for it ;) I just hope it won't be a problem because of the high percentage of passes and A's. Sigh*

Why does politics have to seep through EVERYTHING including education right now??

HUGE SIGH*
Quote of the day:  "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." --Albert Einstein-

Lastly, we should NEVER entrust our faith into something seen. Faith; it's never physical.
Ta :) Have a great day.

Chic Choc and Easter bunnies.

Craving for some of these fine things :) I'm a Hershey's fan.

Look, I've got these beauties which I can't pounce on and seduce just yet. Sigh* I'm waiting to suck them dry, I want to READ.I'm supposed to be studying for my finals but yeah, History just bores me to death. Especially economic history. I'm lazy to study :( Study American History. I prefer macabre pieces of horror like in some of the genocidal wars?? I don't condone horrid acts of course, it's just their brains that work differently, sort of intriguing. Was just thinking, in my previous post, I mentioned, about the education department trying to weed out "sissies"; don't they sound just like Hitler. They're starting to be "Nazis" in a sort of weird way. Ppfftt. I call that a lack of originality ;)

Alright. I have to go and try to stuff my "brian" with some history. At least a page or two.

Happy Easter :) * I want a bunny suit to wear to church * HAHA.
Lots of love.
-The Easter Bunny wannabe-

Stupidity at its maximum.

Meow :3 In my favorite polka dot shorts on a good hair day.

I'm very blunt these few days, the sheer stupidity of the homo sapiens here are irking me to bits. I'd classify them under the homo erectus department if I were a taxologist.

http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles//16eff/Article/

If you read this article, you'd understand what I mean. I'll post part of the beginning of it.

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state Education Department has sent 66 schoolboys with effeminate tendencies to a camp aimed at helping them behave in a proper manner.
"The four-day camp in Besut, the first-ever to be held here, started yesterday. It is to help address the problem afflicting secondary schoolboys.

How dare they actually do that?? This is the education department. It is NOT in any way supposed to be a "bully spot". Effeminate qualities?? Who actually gets to say what is effeminate?? Who sets the bar?? I think this is utterly degrading and that these boys' parents should stand up and act upon this as this is ridiculously low, even for the "Malaysian education department". Utter garbage. They should seriously review who they put up into the high chairs, it's getting more nonsensical by the day. I wonder what they do in our parliament, probably have a "Mad Hatter" tea party. It's going to be really traumatizing for these school boys as they would have to face a lot of badmouthing from their schoolmates etc. It's also a very VERY stereotypical way of coming about with something. Such a mockery. And coming from the education people too, it's disappointing isn't it. It's a sort of violation to human rights in certain aspects.

Imagine the amount of psychological damage they go through. Many Chinese guys are sissies, perhaps all of them should be sent to boot camp. LOL. There are some proposals of testosterone injections. I don't think they're smart enough to think of the consequences of that. We all know an excess amount of testosterones in the body promotes aggression. Ppfftt, dummies.

Really. HAHA. I can't help but to laugh at all this. AND Get a little riled up about it.

A dogma. (The doggie dilemma.)

Meow's here again :)

I was just about to blog on the issue of dog-banning in Malaysia when PETPOSITIVE did it first :) They are banning more than 7 types of dog breeds in Malaysia now, the initial was just SEVEN dog breeds — Akita, Neapolitan Mastiff, American Bulldog, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Japanesa Tosa and American Pit bull — are set to vanish from households in Subang Jaya soon.

The dogs classified under the “big” category are predisposed to aggressive or dangerous behaviour. The council is enforcing a directive from the Selangor Veterinary Department, according to which the dogs are “unmanageable or possibly dangerous”. They're really barking up the wrong tree. These dogs are NOT in any way, a danger to society. The only reason why they become aggressive is because they're either mistreated or abused. A well kept dog would never turn on its owner or simply attack anyone around. If they want to say that the breeds mentioned above are dangerous, I think it applies to every other dog. I've been bitten a few times by my neighbor's annoying Spitz WHILE my other neighbor's Rott weiler is such an angel. I'll show you a picture of her. She has a funny name, she's called Apple :)

Yup, this folks, is Apple :) Ain't she adorable?? Yup, she has the "cutest grimace" ever. It's like as if she's trying to smile. Such a sweetheart. And people claim that these dogs are dangerous. My own dogs, Woffle and Jem have never been anything but angels with us. Such lovable "beasts" they are :)
It's just a mental stigma that some idiots have; to be able to make such atrocious claims. My friend has a pitbull and it's the naughtiest, cutest thing ever. Pitbulls are one of my favorite dogs, they're more than loyal, as lovable as any other dog. They're only "deemed" as dangerous because they're one of the dog breeds that was exploited in China for the activity of dog fighting or rather "pit fighting" as it is known. I really don't understand why these people don't get the concept of "no dogs are dangerous, ONLY dog owners are."

Want to know a cool fact?? Pitbulls pass the 'American Temperament Test' with a really high flying score of 85.3 % which is higher than the average dog (border collies, etc.) IMAGINE THAT!! This is a brief description of the test.

The test simulates a casual walk through a park or neighborhood where everyday life situations are encountered. During this walk, the dog experiences visual, auditory and tactile stimuli. Neutral, friendly and threatening situations are encountered, calling into play the dog's ability to distinguish between non-threatening situations and those calling for watchful and protective reactions.
The dog fails the test if it shows:

  • Unprovoked aggression
  • Panic without recovery
  • Strong avoidance
So I hope I've convinced you enough that pitbulls are one of the least dangerous dogs around (if you were ever afraid of them). I really hate the "bad press" they get. I blame it all on useless morons who use pitbulls for pit fighting especially in China. There was an article in my newspaper today; in China this truckload of dogs was stopped and the guy who stopped it alerted animal rights activists through his microblog, yes, SURPRISE SURPRISE!! The dogs were stolen from neighborhoods and were about to be sent to the cooking pot. People in China and Vietnam etc should learn that these animals are NOT delicacies and a dog is also a family member. Stealing one causes a lot of heartbreak to their respective owners, it's like losing a sister/brother or something. I honestly feel embarrassed to be associated with the Chinese people although I'm one. I'm not being racist here, there's a huge difference; it's that SOME people from China do not have ANY ethics at all, whatsoever. There is a trending thing going on in China where they make keychains out of airtight bags and put an animal inside. Mostly tortoises because tortoises are believed to bring good luck. Imagine dying slowly without food or oxygen. That's how cruel they can get. Now you know why I'm so indignantly filled with righteous anger. I'll show you the picture, hold on.

This is the article.

And this, my lovelies is what torture in a bag looks like. It's a slow death for them, no doubt. It's sickening, what they'd do for profits. Melanin in milk, dog exploitation, fake eggs, now this. What next??

Sigh* I shall stop here. Annoyed by all this cruelty and utter stupidity.
Love you all and I'm sorry I haven't blogged for so long; I was watching the news :/

Of guys and questions.

My butt constantly gets bitten by mosquitoes, perhaps, it's the juiciest part of me :/ Literally.

I'm quite a serious grammar Nazi. That's why I always re-check my posts here to scan them for any slightest bit of errors. That was just a random line. Sometimes, guys "trying to" use pick up lines just annoy me (keyword here is "trying to". The worst I got was, "I love brinjals. And you look like one." I mean like HELLO. Who wants to look like an ugly purple vegetable with an uglier name-aubergine?? HAHA Goodness gracious. And then another one, "I like Oreos and milk." JUST BECAUSE I was wearing an Oreo pendant on my neck :/ Sheesh.

Being a girl, sometimes, guys can be the most annoying pestilence on planet Earth. Some are just plain jerks. Others are plain chauvinists which is really annoying because guys who degrade women really manage to trigger off my anger gene. BUT, guys also can be the SWEETEST things ever :) Like candy canes and apple pies. Worry not, I'm not sexist. Haha.

What is the meaning of politically correct?? Who raises the bar?? And so many more questions in my head. How do we use 3 examples of cases to disprove the Cell Theory?? This is a little hard as I tried to use an example of bacteria to disprove it; but someone told me I was wrong as bacteria came from pre-existing cells which I don't think is true; sparked a heated debate both mentally and on Facebook. Haha. More questions. My neurons are just loaded with them. Seriously :/

How does El Gore come into the picture politically and why did they try to silence him?? Was it because he HAD a point?? Watch the Inconvenient truth. Pretty good. Such controversies. Then, if the theory of evolution is so "controversial", why put it into all our textbooks?? Also, why do some theories cancel each other out, for instance, the biogenesis theory (speciation) and the cell theory, which probably originated from Darwinian times. UGH!! As you can see, too many questions filling up my already tiny brain :/
I wish I had a brain like Einstein. Then again, I could only wish. Or like Hawking's. Sigh* Let me try sleep this curiosity off.

P.s# People that talk like this, "Where you stay oh??" and "You is so hot, I wish I could meet you, is so hot de" irritate me to bits!! Grow up, and save up some money to learn some proper English!! GAH. LOL. *Rants.

Killer Laws.

Guess who's in leopard print ;) Sorry I haven't been blogging, have been busy with a load of things. And hello there, from Texas :)

"There are a hundred ways to slip between the cracks of our not-so-credible culturalism about race and religion." I love this line. From a great poet whose name I shall not mention just yet.

Would you allow women to die in childbirth and abandon their other children that are alive and kicking, or would you allow her to abort abnormal fetuses, once that cause severe damage to the body due to toxoplasmosis or other septic diseases that would cause severe damage to the mother's womb. We are able to change the law, through the democratic voting system. Make them or break them. What would be more logical here?? The leaders of Nicaragua state that it goes against the laws and rules of religion and morality. Which is more "morale" and sane, let me argue?? Which one, taking away a mother's life who is already a mother of others OR allowing her to live a normal life again after a much needed abortion. Ectopic pregnancies are a common thing, believe it or not. Many women in that state suffer from it. It's risky yet they are NOT allowed to get abortions. Why?? Rules. Stupid rulers that govern. People in the upper chairs do not produce enough neurons to be able to make proper decisions. Surprise surprise, it's Central America yo. Such a euphoric scene, such a heated debate. When women on the side are dying due to ectopic pregnancies, womb abnormalities and children that are toxoplasma carriers. How can you deem this to be "moral"??

Read this to know more. Although this article was circulated in 2007, it still is an ongoing issue.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2007/oct/08/health.lifeandhealth

Would you risk your life to spread the good news and change the old ways?? In the African community, many women are being shunned now because they turn from the old ways of sorcery, voodoo and witchcraft and they start learning; numbers, words, everything general. The men in their society are not too happy about it. I'm not talking about the modern day Africa, I'm touching more on the tribes and in the planes there. Women there are getting into trouble because they aren't allowing their daughters to be mutilated. Yes, none other than FGM (female genital mutilation). It used to be a must-do thing in Africa and some other middle Eastern countries but now it's being banned as it actually violates the rights of the girl.

I have so much to say. TOO MUCH in fact. In Asia, killer laws exist too. Especially in Korea, where the North and the South have been separated; I'm sure you get my jive. Horrific, to be split up from family members and friends and to literally be not allowed to even communicate with them. In Asia, killer laws govern. Just like in Nicaragua. In Malaysia, it's all about the government, it's a do or die thing. It's all about conformity and fitting in. Those in the middle, in the cracks, those unique and very different are ostracized. Put away, locked up; those with controversial opinions that might be of benefit are shut away in any form possible. Really, conformity just strains individuality. Not everyone has the same mindset. Everyone was created with a different blueprint. So all these robotic "strategies" are really a waste of effort because in the end, you can change someone "externally" but they'd be "internal rebels".

Guess what. I'm an internal rebel and I like me just the way I am. Nothing will ever govern me with the biased exception of certain principles and values I hold close to heart. I bend to certain rules and regulations as well. I do NOT for once, go with the government. Especially if I know they're wrong. And only God can judge me.

You know why??
Because I come in too many flavors for one fucking spoon.

Enough said.

A writer's Disposition.

Candy for the weird :P There's a weird pacifier-like lolly, some ball bearing mints and Miranda Cosgrove candy. HAHA.

Meow she said. Woof he said. And they lived happily ever after. If only life were as easy as that ;) So many things, despicable some, unexplainable, palpable and bluh. So many things, easier said than done.

My flag counter was the worst yesterday at only 5 hits. HAHA I find that a little amusing. An average would be a 24/25?? That's like a division by 5 :/ Mm, I just had a Kit Kat, the UK chocolate type. People might ask, "What's the difference??" Ooh, UK chocolate has a more distinct taste, very deep indeed. US chocolates taste milkier. Yum* I need more chocolate :( EVERYDAY, I get up and start craving for cheese tarts which is so not a good thing. HAHA. I was just reading the 'Dear Thelma' section in my newspaper and there was one very sad case. This woman, she became a meek timid mouse because her husband beats her up and it was an arranged marriage. He took her phone, confiscated everything including her rights to have friends and her right to work. Such a jerk, that's like a psychological disorder where you treat the wife like an object. Sick :/ Sigh*

On the other hand, my Aspergers has recently caused me to become a slight introvert :( Sigh* I had so many problems with some of my assignment group mates. I find it an absurd and an utter ridiculous idea when lecturers put us into groups without telling us and then, expect us to work together; I just don't jive like that. Life's like that I guess. I just have to learn to work with others. I'm such a one-man show.

In conclusion: Life would be slightly easier if it could go like- Woof he said, meow she replied and they lived happily ever after.

-The end-

April oh April.

A very embarrassing picture of me that you must PROMISE not to laugh at. One of my guy besties made me pose like this :/

I would change my attitude. Of course, I would. Why wouldn't I?? But oh, there's a catch. ONLY and ONLY if they'd change their faces. It's a constant variable you see?? :) Okie, so as days go by, my sarcasm gets more and more and it's NOT healthy at all. Guess I've become a bad tempered little girl, further irked on by many constant variables. I should learn to squelch out my fiery zest, all this raw burning anger inside me. It's only just started, all this; I'm stopping, I'm repenting ;) For real. Haha.

Alright, that aside, I am bogged down by the masses by this and that. Everything and EVERYTHING mind you, has to do with college. I wish I could do things in a snap of a finger but no. I am too precise, I have to take my time on what I do. Maybe procrastination sits by me as well, oh I have to change my ways. LOL it's only History that I actually dawdle on. Not really my cup of tea OR coffee as a matter of fact. I have so many Mendelian Laws to remember now it's mucking my neurons up. I just fed Midnight again, let's hope she munches all her meal worms properly.

Fashion wise: I need a closet revamp. I've been feeling all rocker chic and girly at the same time, gothic and beachy. I need a revamp. And of course, more body art pieces :) Phew* I should stop blogging like this, I sound conceited. But oh well, the only space that I can rant in without getting opinionated opinions. Or so I think ;) There are so many reasons to go vegan. I'm still trying to strictly adhere to my pescatarian diet. It's alright. I've been trying to be a better person with a bigger brain. It'd be one of my goals for April. AND of course, to practice more self-control. In every aspect possible. I've made friends with the bimbos in my Biology class and I'm ashamed to say that oh well, I've been a judgemental human. I take back my words, they all turn out to be really nice individuals, somewhat as weird as I am but not nearly there; if you get what I mean. LOL.

Everything is changing, from one end of the spectrum to another.
Oh April, you're the mother of all jokes.
And I,
Like you.

Hung on closure.

And of course, it's my favorite garb, boxers :D

I've been studying a little on little Belle's syndrome. It seems she has the Turner's syndrome. She lacks one chromosome X. The circle around her chromosome makes it non-existent so as we normal women have an XX chromosome, Belle only has an X. It's so sad. They don't develop properly. She's already a little slow but I tell you, she's one of the most beautiful kids I've ever seen. For those who are wondering, she's my mum's patient :)

Then autism now. Taken from "New Scientist", the US CDC wants to classify wandering in autism as a medical symptom. How can it be medical when it's more psychological?? Yes, autistic individuals do have wandering minds which leads them further to wandering physically but that does NOT mean that wandering is a medical symptom. It is arguably more behavioral than medical, if you get where I'm going at. I have so much to blog about everyday yet I don't seem to have the precious time to. Everything about college is so time-consuming that it's really getting to me. I should probably just grab my notebook and drag it along to college so I can blog anywhere, any time. Ppfftt. I spend 10 hours in college. Seriously. Every day!! Sigh* If only I stayed on campus but we don't have dorms here. Unlike other universities that have on-campus residencies. I'm so envious.

Oh well, I created another piece of art, it's not clear though :/ I call it, 'Hung on closure'. :)

Spot Einstein and the owl and all the other weird things in my world :) LOL. Anyway, I want to indulge in a good juicy book before I start on my History assignment.

Bye, lots of love and I will really REALLY blog more in April ;)
